YOUNG VINNIES DO SERVICE TO THE COMMUNITY

Last  Saturday some of us  Young Vinnies went daffodil picking. Everyone meet at school at 9:30 in the morning to go to Lincoln  to pick some daffodils from great  big fields. We all picked daffodils for an hour and a half and filled up seventeen buckets .

Next  we drove back to school and had sausages and chips. After that we bunched the flowers in sixes, cut the ends of the flowers and put rubber bands around them to give some  to our parishioners of Stella Maris. We also delivered bunches of daffodils  to rest homes in Woolston. We all enjoyed picking daffodils and we hope to they brought smiles to those who got them.
Thanks to Faye Hall and Father Dan for the transport and the yummy food.
