SNOWED IN FOR THREE SCHOOL DAYS.

Poems related to our experiences in the polar blast this term.

Clouds gliding through the sky,
They are floating very high!!!
Grey and dark also light
What a beautiful sight!!!
 Vanessa Johnson

There is nothing quite loud as the sound of blizzard
Boom, bang, boom
Against the window pane

Sleet is like snow
That has lost its touch
Loses its flow very much
Annoys the people playing touch.

Sleet can be late
Sleet can be early
Every car in a race
Can slide on it
And lose its place.

Hail falling fast from the sky
Hail flying fast like a butterfly
Hail comes like rain
Hail gives you pain.

Snow is fun it is soft like powder.
Not like hail that is louder.

YOU CAN BECOME ALL THAT GOD WANTS YOU TO BE.

Room 5 tried really hard to make a video to put on our blog.

We all got into a groups of seven. Mrs Reddy gave each group a verse to sing from the song  "All that God wants you to be."

Our experiences included some groups forgetting the words, othersforgot the actions and some even fogot when to start.

We practised and practised until we finally got it right.

Do watch our video which we think you will most certainly like.

Sunday 7 August 2011

St Anne's Feast Day 2011-Friday 5 August.

The feast of the Patron Saint of our school, St Anne, Mary’s mother was on the 26 of July while we were on holiday.  We are gathered here this afternoon to thank God for the  gift St Anne and St Joachim for being such great grandparents.

In this liturgy  we  thank God for our own families and the gifts he has given us.
We also thank God for our loving grandparents as we honour the grandparents of Jesus.

Lord Jesus  you  call us to follow you ,have mercy on us..

Lord  Jesus you have told us to love one  have mercy on  us.

Lord Jesus you have called us to feed the hungry, have mercy on  us.

God our Father
St Anne and St Joachim model for us faithful parenting.
May those who are ents look to them for hope.
May they model the love of    Christ  in  their  parenting
And support of all families.
Grant this through Christ our Lord
Amen.
