The Importance of Sunday Mass

Most people don’t find time to go to Mass. My family go each week. I believe that going to Mass is the most important weekly routine.

My first reason why you should go to Mass is you will be able to listen to the vicar preach the sermon. You can listen and remember what he says. It is good to be part of the congregation that listens.

My second reason is that if you don’t go, you won’t participate in Holy Communion. When Jesus was alive he said, “Do this in memory of me”. It is traditional to receive the body and blood of Jesus at Mass.

My final reason to go to Mass is the fact that some churches have tea and coffee afterwards. Most churches also have special services for the kids while the real service is going on. I love to go to these services.

I think going to Mass is important because the number of Christians in the world is decreasing fast. It is up to the younger generation to keep Christians alive in the world in future. I don’t want Christianity to die out altogether, do you?

Statistical Survey -Hexagon Group 3

Ethan and Joel decided to do this survey because students don’t have enough sports gear at lunch time.

Everyone plays sports which is good to see. We shall take care of our sport equipment and hope to get more Rugby balls and Net ball balls during lunch time.

SUNDAY MASS IS IMPORTANT.

The number of Catholics is decreasing because most Catholics don’t go to Mass. I think it is very important to go to Mass on Sunday. These are my reasons I think this.

Firstly, the third commandment given to Moses by God is, “Remember to keep the Sabbath day holy”. As Catholics we should obey God’s command and go to Mass on Sunday.

Secondly, at Mass you receive Eucharist, the body and blood of Christ which nourishes your soul.

Thirdly, at Mass you get to learn new things about Jesus and God through the Gospel and Bible readings.

Another reason is that at Mass you are prayed for and you get to pray for other sick and poor people.

Finally, at Mass your friendship with Jesus grows because you are praying to him in silence.

For these reasons, I think as Catholics we should go to Mass every Sunday.
