The number
of Catholics is decreasing because most Catholics don’t go to Mass. I think it
is very important to go to Mass on Sunday. These are my reasons I think this.
Firstly, the
third commandment given to Moses by God is, “Remember to keep the Sabbath day
holy”. As Catholics we should obey God’s command and go to Mass on Sunday.
Secondly, at
Mass you receive Eucharist, the body and blood of Christ which nourishes your
soul.
Thirdly, at
Mass you get to learn new things about Jesus and God through the Gospel and Bible
readings.
Another
reason is that at Mass you are prayed for and you get to pray for other sick
and poor people.
Finally, at
Mass your friendship with Jesus grows because you are praying to him in
silence.
For these
reasons, I think as Catholics we should go to Mass every Sunday.
