Another Letter From Your Teacher.

63 Colman Ave
Christchurch

Tuesday 18 February
Dear Room 5
I am writing to tell you that only today I am feeling as if I am  on the way to getting better. Up until now  I  have been in a lot of pain and stress due to the injury I received about two weeks ago and I  had no idea that the start of 2014 would be this way . I was really looking forward to seeing you all again on the first Monday back.
Anyway I have been told that you all are doing a great job in looking after your relieving teachers Mrs Ackers and Mrs Grant, and learning well- keep this up. As for me, I have not been doing anything at all accept lying down in bed and letting  my injury heal so I can come back asap. The pain killers are working better now but I am very bored – it is really hard to do nothing - so I am going to advise you not to climb trees at night and be aware of your safety all the time.
I went on the internet to learn more about how to care for yourself when internal bruising happens and got some useful information to help me with mine.I hope you are using the laptops in our room to find out more information to help you with explanation writing in class.
I am looking forward to being back in a week and starting your desk tops so please keep on collecting photos and pictures related to your identity to complete your page.
I hope last year’s R5 students are setting good examples for those who are new and that everyone is doing the right thing. I cannot wait to see all of you.
Be happy ,safe and keep up the good work.
I miss you all. See you soon – leaving you some brainteasers to work out, and, see if you can spot me in the photo below.

Can you figure out the answers to the riddles?
I always run, but never walk.
I have a bed, but I don't sleep.
I have a mouth, but I don't eat..

I follow you all day long,
But when the night or rain comes,
I am all gone.

A cowboy rides into town on Friday.
He stays two days, then leaves on
Saturday. How can this be?
