There were a lot of other schools there.The practice lasted
almost two hours. We all enjoyed the choir singing at Shirley high but were
happy to go back to school and have something to eat.

AREA CHOIR REHEARSAL FOR CHRISTCHURCH MUSIC FESTIVAL 2015
As soon as the bell rang 20 students for Shirley Boys’ High for an area choir rehearsal for Christchurch Music Festival. When
we arrived we got seated and we waited to start singing. The first song that we
sang was the National Anthem and as we continued, we got stopped a lot of times
by the choir teachers to fix up mistakes we made.
There were a lot of other schools there.The practice lasted
almost two hours. We all enjoyed the choir singing at Shirley high but were
happy to go back to school and have something to eat.
