WRITING ARGUMENTS IN ROOM 5

We have been learning to write arguments in our class.

WHY THE ST ANNE’S SCHOOL MISSION FAIR IS IMPORTANT!

I think that the Mission Fair is important while others may think it is a fun fair.

The main reason of the Mission Fair is to raise money for Caritas which  means sharing.Caritas helps the needy and the poor by supplying food, shelter and fresh water.

Shelter helps people to stay dry and warm. Food means people will not starve. Water keeps people hydrated and keeps your blood pumping.

The money really helps poor people  in countries like Africa and Nepal is another reason why I think the Mission Fair is important. It also helps after a big disaster. For example this year,in Nepal,there was a very big earth quake and Caritas raised money to help supply food.At St Anne’s we prayed for the victims and donated money .

Fairs are important because the children want to have fun, and come together in a group. They also love to celebrate the coming of the end of the term through a fair - good to have some fun.

These are my reasons why I think we should have a Mission fair. Every little cent counts so  on the 23^rd of September, in three weeks’ time ,help us raise lots of money to help Caritas help the poor.
