On Palm Sunday
we get given palms to wave around
because it’s the day Jesus came back from the dessert. Jesus was in the dessert praying and fasting
for 40 days and 40 nights. When he came
out from the dessert the villagers waved
palms with joy and happiness. They were
shouting,” Hosanna” and praising Jesus.
On Palm
Sunday we get palms to wave at Mass because it is a joyful day. When the villagers saw Jesus they waved palms
at Jesus. They were happy to see him.
“Hosanna praise God!” they shouted .
I think
waving palms on Palm Sunday would be fun and happy. I will try my best to go to Mass.
