On Thursday 29th of September Room 5 walked to Bamford School to participate in the Skate Skool. Once we got there we met our old friend Boss Luke. We all sat down and listened to what he had to say. We started off with some warm-ups; octopus sprints and leap frog. After the warm-ups we lined up and collected our safety gear. We sat down and put on our roller blades or got our skate boards.
Next we started skating, we only had half an hour and most of us fell over. While we were skating Mrs Reddy and Miss O’Neill were taking videos and photos of us. Some of us went over the ramps. The boys on the skateboards were showing off their mad skills and tricks. The girls were helping each other to skate which was really caring. Mrs Reddy did not like the thought of us falling over. With 5 minutes left we skated like professionals. We ended our fun morning by packing up and Thomas got a prize for being the first one to take off his gear. We all thanked Boss Luke and walked back to school.
It was a fun morning.
