                     Sports Description
I am writing about cricket which is played by males and females in many countries.

There are 11 players in each cricket team. One team is batting and the other one is a fielding team. Two bats men line up at each end of the pitch in front of the wickets which have 3 sticks and bale. A bowler from the other team bowls the ball to one batsman, who hits it out as far as they can, then both batsmen run between the wickets to score runs for their team.

The teams change over when all the batsmen are caught out, and the team who finish with the most runs wins the match.

Players need a bat, cricket ball, 2 sets of wickets, knee pods, gloves for the bowlers and wicket keeper.

A form of the cricket called ‘Kilikits’ started in Samoa and it is Samoa’s national sport. It is played with long, three-sided bats, and the balls are very hard rubber balls wrapped in pandanus.
