PUBERTY - GROWING UP

Everyone is unique even though we grow up in four different ways during puberty - Intellectually, Emotionally, Socially and physically. Everybody grows in these four ways.
When you grow up intellectually you learn to grow independently. Your brain grows and you learn new skills.  Maybe you will find yourself doing things that you have never accomplished. There are more experiences and discoveries to make. It will make life more fun.
Growing up emotionally means that you can get over your fears. You’d be able to do what you were afraid of and that would be cool. You shall learn to control your emotions and explore new ones.  Feelings for one another may change and you might not have fun with the people you used to.
When you grow up socially you may want to be friends with people you never expected. Some unexpected people may want to be friends with you. There are more fun experiences that you will enjoy now. When you experience something you may want try it again and, over time you could be an expert.
Growing up physically shows more than the other three types’. You get taller, heavier and stronger. Sooner or later your face will break out in pimples. Your hair will get very oily, but it is only temporary. It is a good idea to keep it out of you face because it is not good for your skin.
At some time in your life these changes will happen to you. They are no laughing matter. It may be something to ask your parents about. They could be interested to know that you have started these changes.
