Dear DiaryWe travelled to the Hagley Park.. I was in the netball A team playing centre, one of the best positions. When we got off the bus we had to go straight to the netball courts. We were worried because it was Friday the 13th and everyone knows that Friday the 13th is an unlucky day. The first team we played was O.L.V. and we were winning at first but they won 7 to 1.We did get the first goal of the tournament.
The second team we played was C.K.T. and they gave us a good thrashing and we lost 1 to 13. We finally had our victory in the third game we played, it was goal after goal after goal. Our fourth and fifth teams were also victories. It turned out that Friday the 13th wasn’t so bad after all. It certainly wasn’t unlucky as we won three out of five games. Grace
