FEAST DAY CELEBRATIONS - FRIDAY 2 AUGUST.

We celebrated our feast day on Friday because we were on holiday on 26 July.

 

FEAST DAY CONCERT

Before the Mass at 10.30am we did a concert for all grandparents and friends at the Mission centre. Room 5 played two recorder songs. We also sang a medley which was fun. Room 2 did an action song which everyone liked and Room one did an amazing puppet show about Pinocchio. Room six dressed up like teddy bears and did a teddy bear picnic .Room four sang an action song which made us laugh. We all got an ice block each for doing a great concert.

ST ANNE’S FEAST DAY MASS

After our concert we went to Mass which was led by our class, in the Mission Centre at 10:00am.Kian and Sofia were the altar servers.  We sang ‘’God has made us a Family’’ and “My Spirit Sings”. Some children in our class took up the water, bread and wine and read the   prayers of the faithful .I read  a prayer for the poor and hungry in our world. After Communion  we  did a liturgical dance to “We are the Light.” Everyone loved the Mass.The grandparents also liked the special cards we made for them. Happy Feast Day!
