SUPER STARS
Amelia and Joel are making star wheels.
First we got
a sheet that had a star wheel on it and cut out a circle and then the
centre of the circle. Next we got another sheet that was blue and cut out the
shape. Last of all we had to sellotape it together. We made a star wheel which it tells
you what different stars you can see. It was really fun making star wheels.
Did you know?
The blue star is the hottest..
The sun is not the hottest star.

3D SOLAR SYSTEM

There was a special app so to could see something quite extraordinary …
We could see something that wasn’t there on the poster and using the tablet we could see all the planets and the
sun in the middle - all moving around.It was spectacular !

UV Light Station
Indi has a
highlighter line on the back of her hand and Mimi is putting sunblock over the
line.
Indi put her hand underneath the hole in the box. In the box was a
UV light hanging from the lid.When you looked through the other hole on the side
of the box, you could see the highlighter turn purple.
This activity proved that we must wear sunblock.
