Dear Parents
Students
learn to write in a variety of ways in Room 5 and now have the chance of making
a choice in the speech competition this term. We have discussed how to write a speech
and brainstormed titles in class. The students have selected titles they want
to write about and may need some help and guidance from you. Speeches must be
in their own words.
Here
is an outline of how the speeches will be judged. I am sure the following guidelines
will help with your child’s speech preparation. Speeches will be heard at the
end of week 9 .First place getter at each level will speak at assembly in week 10.
PRESENTATION
