Today is a day of a special celebration ,the start of
Lent.
The
three special activities we do during Lent are PRAYER,
FASTING,
ALMSGIVING.
We had a Mass to
celebrate Ash Wednesday and it was also our opening school
Mass which was held in the hall. Father Dan and
was wearing purple clothes. When the Mass started we were well prepared.We got the cross of ashes on our forehead to remind us to be better people and to help poor people this Lent.
Room 5 students were amazing singers. My favourite bit was singing the two songs about change and making a difference. I loved the Mass.
