LET THE ADVENT SEASON BEGIN - MONDAY 1 DECEMBER 2014.

We learned about the meaning of Advent this morning. As a follow up we had the opportunity to design our own wreaths, some of which we would like to share with you and invite you to join us as we prepare for the coming of JESUS. Advent also marks the beginning of the new Church year-Year B.

From top to bottom the wreaths were created by Kristyl, Letone, Talia and Elisah.

Here are some great suggestions to help you prepare for Christmas

   Make  a special time for prayer – Karakia. 

 Go to Mass every Sunday and join  in the celebration of the Eucharist.
Listening with special attention to the liturgy of the Word.

Ask Jesus to come into your  lives.

Make  an effort to be especially helpful.
