Last Thursday Rooms 5 and 3 went
to the Brookhaven Retirement home to entertain the old people. We all ran in
and sat down in front of the old people and we did our Samoan dance. Next we
sang some rounds called the Crawdad Song and The Burrowing African Aardvark. We
also sang a Barney song called The Green
Grass Grows. Our last song was a song called God Has A Big Surprise for Advent and we did a dance for the chorus.
The final item was a medley of
Christmas songs and carols.We then handed the residents sweets we made as part
of our technology project this term.
It was lovely talking with the
old men and women who just loved us being there .We hope to do this service in 2013.
