Greetings to you
all and I hope that you all had a lovely
holiday and the children are well rested for the last term of the year. I had a
lovely time in Brisbane for 10 days and wish I could have brought the warmth
back with me..
We have a very
busy term planned which will keep us well occupied. On Wednesday we are having
a retreat at Te Rangi Marie Centre(see attached letter) and athletics training
in preparation for the school and South
East zones competitions begin this week.
Thanks for your
support of the Mission Fair and I am very proud of my students who organized
and managed the whole event .
The students will
continue to need a lot of guidance and support in keeping the routines to
engage in learning.. I hope that the
children will work on becoming self-propelled learners and develop this responsibility with a
positive attitude.I shall endeavour to do the best I can to ensure their
progress in all areas. The assertive
discipline policy in my class will be continued to help those children who still need help in
acquiring appropriate behaviours and work habits.
