HOOKED ON CRICKET TOURNAMENT -FRIDAY 21 SEPTEMBER.

On Wednesday 19 September Ewen who is a cricket instructor took us for  cricket coaching .Mrs Reddy then selected  eight students  to go to the Hooked on Cricket Tournament  to play against seven other schools

Ewen taught us how to catch, bowl and how to hold the bat properly. Then we played a fun game of bat down. We think it was a privilege to meet Ewen and to learn the basic skills of cricket. 

We came second!

Sunday 16 september-Parish and Scholl Mass

On Sunday at St John's hall there was a parish and school Mass. Jack,Ethan,Leo and Beth   from our class and some  others  in the school  are making their  Holy Communion this year received Bibles from Father Dan. The Bibles will  help us with our Communion preparation. After we  received our bibles we sang a song called "You can become all that God wants you to be".

When Mass was overMass all the children went outside and Father Dan threw lollies to everyone. We can’t wait to make our first Holy Communionon tje Feast of Christ the King next term-Please pray for us and our families.

HAPPY FATHERS’ DAY 2012 - Mrs Reddy

 

Last Friday morning I was absolutely delighted by the sight of this beautiful family on my arrival at school. I just couldn’t resist capturing the lovely images. I was pleasantly reminded of the protective and caring nature of parents, especially fathers.

Therefore I dedicate the following photographs to all fathers on their special day -- especially the fathers of my students in Room 5.
